Roles and permissions in Inverso are a powerful tool for managing access within your organization. They let you define exactly which employee or partner can perform which actions in the system.
Key concepts:
- Permissions: These are individual authorizations for specific actions – for example, "create invoice," "delete project," or "view bank transactions."
- Roles: A role is a bundle of permissions. Instead of assigning dozens of permissions to each user individually, you assign them a role (for example, "Invoice Manager") that already includes the necessary permissions.
Default Roles:
Inverso comes with several predefined roles:
- Admin: Full access to everything in the organization, including settings and role management.
- Member: Basic view-only access to information, with no editing rights.
- Invoice Manager: Full access to the Invoices, Clients, and Services modules.
- Project Manager: Full access to Projects, Tasks, and their related invoices.
- Client Manager: Focused on managing the client base and tags.
Important management rules:
- Organization owner: Roles and permissions can only be managed by the Owner of the organization (the user who originally created the organization).
- Additional users (Seats): Each subscription plan includes a set number of free user "seats." If you want to add more people to your team, you need to purchase additional seats on the same subscription plan.
- Customization: In addition to the default roles, you can create your own custom roles tailored to the specific needs of your business processes.
Using roles ensures that your financial data is protected and that everyone sees only what they need for their work.
